Terms of Use

Last updated: 5 January 2026.
By using p2p-platforms.eu, you accept these terms. Read them before you rely on any grade, comparison or guide published here.

1. What this site is

p2p-platforms.eu is an independent comparison and editorial website. We grade European P2P lending platforms from A+ to D, publish guides, and provide tools to help you compare options. We are not a financial adviser, broker, investment platform, or bank. We do not hold client money, execute transactions, or offer personalised investment advice.

Every grade, article and calculator result is editorial opinion formed from publicly available data and our analysis. Platforms are graded monthly; information may change between updates. You use this content at your own discretion.

2. No warranties or guarantees

We work hard to keep information accurate and current, but we offer no warranty – express or implied – that any content is correct, complete, or fit for your purpose. P2P lending involves capital risk. No investment is guaranteed; platforms can fail; regulatory licences do not cover borrower defaults. Returns mentioned are historical or advertised figures and do not predict your future outcome.

You are solely responsible for your own investment decisions. Before you invest, read the platform’s terms, check the regulator register, and consider independent financial advice if you need it.

3. Affiliate relationships

Some outbound links to platforms are affiliate links. If you register via one of these links and meet the platform’s conditions, we may earn a commission. This does not change the price you pay or the service you receive. Affiliate income is disclosed on every relevant page and in full on our How we earn page.

Grades are assigned independently; we do not accept payment for higher grades or favourable editorial placement. Sponsored content – currently 8lends – is clearly labelled and sits outside the graded list.

4. Intellectual property

All content on p2p-platforms.eu – text, images, logos, grade methodology, calculator code – is owned by or licensed to p2p-platforms.eu unless stated otherwise. You may cite or quote our content with clear attribution and a link back to the original page. You may not republish entire pages, scrape data at scale, or present our grades as your own work.

Platform names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used here for editorial and comparison purposes only.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, p2p-platforms.eu and its operators accept no liability for any loss – direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential – arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content. This includes, but is not limited to, investment losses, platform defaults, data errors, or unavailability of the site.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under EU consumer law.

6. External links

We link to external websites – platforms, regulators, news sources – for reference and convenience. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, privacy practices, or availability. An outbound link is not an endorsement unless explicitly stated as such.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Germany, where p2p-platforms.eu is operated. Any dispute arising from your use of the site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the German courts, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms? Reach us via the contact page or see our imprint for legal entity details.

Remember: P2P lending puts your capital at risk. No platform, licence, or grade eliminates that risk. Do your own research, read the platform’s terms, and never invest money you cannot afford to lose.
